The buffer has 4 parts to remove ridges, smooth and polish the nail for a perfect shine. Before using, evenly shape your nails with an S-file, cut your cuticles back and remove any old nail polish.
Use side 1 to shape the nail edge and remove any sharp edges, filing from the edge to the centre of each side.
Use side 2 to remove ridges on the top of the nail. A few rounded strokes reaching into the corners are enough to remove the light distortion caused by the ridges.
Using side 3, rub from the side to the centre of the nail to smooth it.
Switch to side 4 and rub with reasonable pressure and watch as the nail transforms. This final stage can be repeated almost daily to keep your nails sparkling.
